Doug Flack passed away in 2006. Doug had a passion for music and was always interested in encouraging people to play. He spent many hours of his own time teaching drums to anyone who wanted to learn and never charged a single penny! His friends and colleagues at The Ivy Leaf Club, a private members club in Langford, Bedfordshire, decided to commemorate his memory by putting on an annual series of gigs called D Fest. The mini music festival has run for two years now and they managed to raise over £1500 for Youth Music, a fantastic achievement and all in memory of a much missed friend.
